Voters in Wright County will have a few important decisions to make on Election Day November 4th.
A special election will be held in Minnesota Senate District 29 to fill the seat left open due to the unexpected death in July of State Senator Bruce Anderson of Buffalo. Republican Michael Holmstrom, Jr. of Buffalo will face DFL’er Louis McNutt of Buffalo. Both advanced after an earlier primary election.
Also on the ballot in certain school districts are questions dealing with a referendum, or a special election.
The St. Cloud School District is holding a special election to elect a new school board member. Meanwhile, voters in the Annandale, Monticello, Rockford and St. Michael-Albertville School Districts will ask residents to consider operating levy increases.
Early voting is available to eligible voters at the Wright County Government Center through November 3rd. Voters in Monticello and Delano may visit their city halls for early voting.
