SOAR Regional Arts has one final performance this weekend of its concert-version performance of the powerful rock opera “Jesus Christ Superstar.”
The organization will perform the music from the classic Andrew Lloyd Weber and Tim Rice production live at the St. Michael Town Center Lions Pavilion. The musical will be performed in its entirety, complete with a live band and chorus, along with individual vocalists.
A live painter will create a large-scale painting during the performance. The completed works from each performance will be auctioned later at SOAR’s annual silent auction in December.
Today’s final performance will be at 2 PM. Admission is free. SOAR suggests a 10 dollar-per-person donation to support its mission.
