Four people were injured Thursday morning when four vehicles were involved in a traffic crash on I-94 near Clearwater.
The Minnesota State Patrol reports that around 9:40 Thursday morning, an Acura SUV, a Ford pickup, a GMC van and a Pontiac passenger car were all traveling east on the freeway and were slowing for traffic when the crash occurred.
Officials say the driver of the SUV, 43-year-old Denise Brown of Minneapolis sustained non-life threatening injuries and was treated at the Monticello Hospital.
Meanwhile, the driver of the Pontiac sedan, 29-year-old Weston Blanchard of Clearwater, also had non-life threatening injuries and was taken to the Monticello Hospital for treatment.
The driver of the Ford pickup, a 46-year-old woman whose address was not listed, and an 8-year-old male passenger both had minor injuries that did not require hospital treatment.
The driver of the GMC van, a 46-year-old man, and a passenger, a 47-year-old woman, both from Browerville, Minnesota, were not injured.
The Clearwater Fire Department, and Mayo Ambulance assisted State Troopers at the scene.
