Funeral Services will be held today (Friday) in St. Cloud for a longtime Wright County area resident and longtime law enforcement officer.
Keith P. Heaton passed away September 11th at the age of 70 due to complications from a recent surgery.
Keith grew up on a farm in rural Clearwater. He graduated from St. Cloud Technical High School in 1974, and attended Alexandria Community College studying law enforcement.
He started his career as an officer with the Annandale Police Department. He then went on to serve as a Sergeant with the Wright County Sheriff’s Office for 28 years before retiring in 2007.
Services for Keith Heaton are planned for today (Friday, 1 PM) at the Love of Christ Lutheran Church in St. Cloud.
