A Wright County man was arrested this week on charges stemming from an alleged gun pointing incident near Albertville.
The Wright County Sheriff’s Office reports that around 2:20 PM Tuesday, deputies responded to a location on westbound I-94. A short time later, multiple squads reportedly located and stopped a suspect vehicle on Wright County Road 39 near Rivermill Drive in Monticello.
Evidence along with witness statements gathered by deputies led to the arrest of the driver of the vehicle, 23-year-old Preston Sinkel of South Haven.
Sinkel was booked into the Wright County Jail on probable cause 2nd Degree Assault, and Terroristic Threats. No injuries were reported in connection with the incident.
The Wright County Sheriff’s Department’s investigation is continuing.
