Higher mortgage rates remain a challenge for the state’s real estate market, but Minnesota Realtors President Wendy Uzelac says many Minnesotans are no longer putting off a move simply because they have a lower rate on their current home…
“We’re running into that with many sellers where they become buyers, even with low current mortgage rates. Just family circumstance—it could be something job-related, it could be something just personal in their lives—that leads them to have to or want to make the choice of changing their housing.”
Uzelac says that’s helping keep Minnesota’s housing market moving despite the higher mortgage interest rate environment.
