MN Real Estate Market Shows Optimistic Signs

Leaders in the field of real estate in Minnesota say the state’s property market is showing some optimistic signs. While homes are staying on the market a little longer than they did a few years ago, demand remains strong for the right property…

A well-priced property in a great location, in nice condition, we’re still seeing multiple offers on those. But with more inventory, consumers have more choice, so they’re being a little more intentional about the choices they’re making.”

Wendy Uzelac, president of Minnesota Realtors says the outlook for Minnesota’s housing market remains positive as the busy summer season continues…

We’re seeing some really great gains in the number of pending sales in Minnesota, which then translates into more closed sales. The inventory gains that we’ve had are really helping all segments of the marketplace, especially first-time home buyers.”

Uzelac says June’s report suggests the market is becoming more balanced, with increased inventory helping both buyers and sellers.
