Officials with MnDOT, the City of Clearwater and Wright County, will conduct an informal public meeting this afternoon (Monday) to discuss a planned safety and improvement project on Highway 24 slated to begin next summer.
The public meeting will be held today (Monday) from 4 to 6 PM at the Lions Park Pavilion, at 1110 CSAH 75 in Clearwater.
Officials say the meeting will not be a formal public hearing, but instead, a casual, on-going question and answer session that residents and those interested may attend anytime during the two hour time period.
Topics that are expected to be covered include the overall work area, travel impacts, the schedule of the work and to view project displays.
MnDOT plans to reconstruct the Highway 24 interchange at I-94 between 179th Street to Ash Street in Clearwater.

Final design and work staging will continue through 2025, with construction expected to begin next summer, wrapping up by late fall 2027.
