MnDOT has announced that it will be holding an open house in early October to review next year’s major Highway 25 project between Monticello and Buffalo.
Officials say the session will be held on Thursday, October 9th from 5 to 7 PM at the Wright County Government Center (3650 Braddock Avenue SE in Buffalo).
Among the major features of the project are the reconstruction of the road surface from Catlin Street in Buffalo to just south of Kjellberg Court south of Monticello, repair or replacement of infrastructure and improvements to ditch drainage, access improvements, and construction of three roundabouts to be located at Highway 25 and County Road 37, at Catlin Street in Buffalo, and at Highway 25 and County Road 113 north of Buffalo.

The construction is slated to begin next spring, and run through fall of 2026.
