Minnesotans who are beginning their search for health insurance for 2026 can now visit MNsure.org to explore their options and get a free, anonymous estimate for next year’s coverage.
MNsure CEO Libby Caulum says careful coverage searches will be even more critical this year as Congress has yet to extend expiring enhanced tax credits for private health insurance. That will mean higher premiums next year for tens of thousands of Minnesotans…
“Maybe you’ve been a customer of ours for a long time. Maybe it’s your first time coming. The thing that I’d like to stress is that it’s never been more important to shop and compare all of your options, because even if you’ve had that same plan for years, you don’t just want to hit repeat this year because there might be a better fit for your family’s needs and budget.”
The open enrollment period for 2026 coverage begins on November 1st.
