A Wright County student was recently named a winner of the annual Minnesota Senate Art Competition.
State Senator Bruce Anderson of Buffalo congratulates Monticello 7th grader Alyssa Young was named as the District 29 winner of the Senate’s “My District, My Minnesota” art competition.
Senator Anderson says Alyssa’s drawing showcases some of the beautiful lakes in Wright County, as well as farmland and the Wright County Fair.
Alyssa’s work is currently on display in the Minnesota Senate Office Building in St. Paul.
