A Monticello woman was injured in a Monday morning crash in Monticello.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, a GMC Sierra was traveling eastbound on Chelsea Road in Monticello, and a Subaru Forester was northbound on Highway 25 when the two vehicles collided.
Injured in the crash was the driver of the Subaru, 64-year-old Tamara Larson of Monticello. She received non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to North Memorial Hospital. The driver of the GMC, 42-year-old Jerry Arns of Monticello, was not injured.
Both drivers were wearing their seatbelts, and alcohol was not a factor in the 6:21 AM crash.
The Minnesota State Patrol was assisted by the Wright County Sheriff’s Office, Centra Care Ambulance, MnDOT, and Monticello Fire and Rescue.
