More Community Clean-ups in Wright County This Weekend

Annual Spring Clean-Up events continue this weekend in and around Wright County.

In Howard Lake, the annual City Clean-Up begins Friday from 1 to 7 PM, and will continue on Saturday from 8 AM to 12 noon at the Memorial Park. Disposal fees will be based on the items brought in. Residents should note that this is a cash-only event.

One day clean-ups on Saturday include Albion Township from 8 AM to 11 AM at the town hall, the City of Annandale at the Public Works building from 9 AM to 1 PM, the City of Cokato at the Public Works Garage from 9 AM to 12 noon, the City of Delano and Franklin Township from 8 AM to 12 noon at the Delano Public Drop-Off Site, the City of Greenfield at the Greenfield City Hall from 8 AM to 12 noon, Monticello Township at the Township Hall from 7 AM to 12 noon, the City of Hanover from 8 AM to 12 noon at the Hanover Public Works building, the City of Otsego at the City Hall from 8 AM to 12 noon, the City of Rockford at the Public Works Site from 8 AM to 12 noon, Rockford Township at the town hall from 8 AM to 12 noon, and Silver Creek Township from 7 AM to 12 noon at the township hall.

Most clean-up events are limited to residents of that city or township. Check with the city or township in your area for any adjustments to eligibility for drop-off and other questions.

A few more spring clean-ups are scheduled for later in May at various locations around Wright County.
