A motorcyclist was hurt in a crash with an SUV in neighboring McLeod County Wednesday afternoon.
The State Patrol was called to the scene of the crash on Highway 7 in Winsted Township around 4:20 PM. Authorities say a Ford Explorer and a Yamaha motorcycle were both westbound on Highway 7 when they collided.
The motorcyclist, 38-year-old Joseph Goettl of Silver Lake sustained non-life threatening injuries in the crash and was treated at the Waconia Hospital. The driver of the SUV, 63-year-old Irene Johnson of Lester Prairie, was not injured.
The McLeod County Sheriff’s Office, the Winsted Police Department and the Lester Prairie Fire Department assisted the State Patrol.
