Motorcyclist Injured in Tuesday Afternoon Crash in Monticello

A motorcyclist was injured following a crash Tuesday afternoon in Monticello.

According to the Minnesota State Patrol, 23-year-old Noah Andres Peterson of Golden Valley was turning northbound on Highway 25 from Oakwood Drive, near the Monticello McDonald’s Restaurant.  It was then that Peterson lost control of his 2006 Triumph motorcycle.

Peterson was brought to CentraCare Hospital in Monticello with non-life-threatening injuries.  Alcohol was not involved, and roads were reported as dry in the 5:37 PM crash.

The State Patrol was assisted by CentraCare Ambulance, the Monticello Fire Department, and the Wright County Sheriff’s Office.
