It’s a big day for the events of the 50th Anniversary Monticello Riverfest going on this weekend.
Among the activities today (Saturday) are the Riverfest 5K, and a fun run for the kids, the annual Art in the Park and Taste of Monticello at Ellison Park, and the Riverfest Bean Bag Tournament also at Ellison Park. Also today (Saturday), the Monticello Fire Department will host an open house from 1 to 3 PM.
Then this evening, it’s a street dance in the Monticello Community Center west parking lot, with music from “Dysfunktional” at 5:30 PM, followed by “The Fabulous Armadillos” at 8 PM.
Food trucks, concessions and beverages will be available on site.
