One person was injured when two passenger vehicles collided on I-94 near Albertville early Thursday morning.
The State Patrol reports that around 5:45 AM, a Buick SUV and a Ford passenger car were both westbound on the freeway when the vehicles collided near milepost 202. Officials say the impact of the crash caused the Ford vehicle to make contact with the median guard rail.
The driver of the SUV, 53-year-old Kari Merritt of Maple Grove sustained non-life threatening injuires and was transported to the CentraCare Hospital in Monticello for treatment.
Meanwhile the driver of the Ford sedan, a 17-year-old female from Rogers whose name was not given by authorities, was not injured.
CentraCare Ambulance assisted the State Patrol.
