One Injured in Two-Vehicle Freeway Crash in Albertville Thursday Evening

One driver was injured when an SUV collided with a semi-truck Thursday evening in Albertville. The State Patrol reports the crash happened around 7:40 PM on Interstate 94 at Mile Marker 202.

Officials say a Hyundai Palisade and the Kenworth semi were both headed east on the freeway when the vehicles collided. The Hyundai SUV then rolled over.

The driver of the SUV, 48-year-old Wendy Jackson of Fargo, North Dakota sustained non-life threatening injuries in the crash and was transported to the Maple Grove Hospital for treatment. The driver of the semi, a 41-year-old man from Blaine, was not injured.

The State Patrol was assisted by the Wright County Sheriff’s office, the Albertville Fire Department, and Allina Health EMS.
