One driver was injured Thursday morning in the crash of a pickup truck and an SUV in St. Michael.
The State Patrol reports the crash happened shortly before 11 o’clock at the intersection of Highway 241 and Edgewood Drive.
Officials say a Dodge Durango was westbound on Highway 241 while a Chevy pickup was eastbound on 241 and was attempting to turn north onto Edgewood Drive when the vehicles collided.
The driver of the SUV, 24-year-old Hollin Hackett of Brooklyn Center was injured in the crash and was taken to the Maple Grove Hospital for treatment. The driver of the pickup, 34-year-old Benjamin McCormick of Big Lake, was not injured.
The Wright County Sheriff’s Office, St. Michael Fire Department, and Allina Ambulance assisted at the scene.
