The Wright County Sheriff’s Office is updating residents of the area that a Level 3 offender that had been briefly living in the City of Delano, is no longer staying in that city.
Earlier this month, the Sheriff’s Office notified the public that Herbert Carl Hubbard, a Level 3 offender that has served his term of incarceration, was being placed at the location. The notice was pursuant to a Minnesota statute which authorizes law enforcement agencies to inform the public of a predatory offender’s release from prison or a secure treatment facility when that agency believes that the release of information will enhance public safety.
Officials say predatory offenders are required, by law, to register with local authorities, and to keep authorities apprised of any subsequent changes in residence.
