A small plane with two people aboard crashed at the Buffalo Municipal Airport late Sunday afternoon.
The Buffalo Police Department reports that officers were dispatched to the airport on County Road 134 in Buffalo shortly after 4 PM Sunday. Crews with the Buffalo Fire Department were also dispatched to the scene.
Multiple sources indicate that the Federal Aviation Administration states that a Piper aircraft crashed while apparently attempting to depart the airport.
The plane appeared to have at least partially overturned on the runway. There has been no official word on the medical condition of the two people reportedly onboard.
There were no unusual weather conditions reported around the time of the incident.
The FAA along with the National Transportation Safety Board are heading up the investigation.
