Theater-goers can plunge into a singing, dancing, dynamic stage show beginning tonight and through the weekend as SOAR Regional Arts presents Nickelodeon’s “The SpongeBob Musical” Youth Edition.
When the citizens of Bikini Bottom discover that a volcano will soon erupt and destroy their humble home, SpongeBob Squarepants and his friend must come together to save the fate of their undersea world. The characters witness a most unexpected hero who rises up to prove that the power of optimism really can save the world.
“The SpongeBob Musical” is great fun for all ages, and opens tonight (Thursday) at 7 PM at the St. Michael-Albertville Middle School West in Albertville. There will be no Friday performances, but the show resumes Saturday at 2 and 7 PM, and Sunday at 1 and 4 PM.
