A St. Cloud man was critically injured in a rollover traffic crash Tuesday evening in Elk River.
The State Patrol reports that around 7:15 PM, a Ford F150 pickup was westbound on U-S Highway 10 at Troy Street Northwest when the vehicle left the roadway and rolled over.
The driver of the truck, 56-year-old James McDonough of St. Cloud sustained life threatening injuries in the crash and was air lifted to North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale.
Authorities say the man was using a seat belt. Officials say alcohol is suspected to be a factor in the crash.
Allina Ambulance, LifeLink 3 Helicopter, the Elk River Police and the Elk River Fire and Rescue assisted at the crash scene.
