A St. Michael man was killed in a single-vehicle traffic crash Saturday evening in the metro area.
The State Patrol reports that around 7:45 PM Saturday, a pickup that was westbound on I-694 was attempting to merge with westbound I-94 when it went out of control and rolled over in the ditch.
The driver of the pickup, 49-year-old John Neururer of St. Michael was killed in the crash. Authorities say he was not wearing a seat belt.
The Maple Grove Police and North Ambulance assisted State Troopers at the scene.
