A Wright County man was involved a traffic crash with serious injuries Wednesday morning in the community of Isanti.
The State Patrol reports that shortly before 9 AM, a Ford Flex passenger vehicle was northbound on Highway 65 when it collided with a semi tractor that was westbound on 285th Avenue Northeast. Officials say the crash happened at the intersection.
The driver of the Ford vehicle, 31-year-old Amber Shellito of Cambridge, suffered life-threatening injuries in the crash and was transported to the Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis.
The driver of the semi tractor, 61-year-old Ronald Baron of St. Michael was not injured.
The Isanti County Sheriff’s Office and Allina EMS assisted State Troopers at the scene.
