State Patrol Investigates Car – Motorcycle Crash in Buffalo

The Minnesota State Patrol investigated a car – motorcycle crash in the City of Buffalo in recent days.

Authorities say around 3:45 PM Thursday, a Chevy Impala passenger car was eastbound on Highway 55 near the intersection of 5th Street Northeast when it collided with a Triumph motorcycle that was also eastbound on Highway 55.

The motorcycle rider, 35-year-old Thomas Bobertz of Buffalo sustained non-life threatening injuries and was treated at Buffalo Hospital. Officials say he was wearing a helmet.

The driver of the Chevy sedan, 35-year-old LeeAnn Baker of Annandale, was not injured.

The Buffalo Police and Allina Hospital EMS assisted at the scene.
