Two drivers were injured when three vehicles collided Friday afternoon in rural Meeker County.
The State Patrol reports that around 12:10 PM, a Ford mini-van, an Audi passenger car, and a Chevy SUV were all eastbound on U-S Highway 12 when they collided near 650th Avenue.
Injured in the crash was the driver of the mini-van. 70-year-old Glenn Mackendanz of Darwin, sustained non-life threatening injuries and was treated at the Litchfield Hospital. Meanwhile, the driver of the Chevy Traverse, 79-year-old Marilyn Howk of Dassel, had non-life threatening injuries that did not require hospital treatment.
The driver of the Audi sedan, 61-year-old Alene Chelman of Cokato, escaped injury.
The Litchfield Fire and Rescue teams, Mayo Ambulance, and the Meeker County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
