Two people were injured when a passenger car and a semi truck collided Wednesday in the community of Delano.
The State Patrol was called to the scene of the crash at Highway 12 and County Line Road just before 12 noon on Wednesday.
Authorities say the semi truck was westbound on Highway 12, while the Subaru Outback was southbound on County Line Road when the vehicles collided in the intersection.
Officials say the driver of the Subaru passenger car, 77-year-old John Pierce, and a passenger, 78-year-old Susan Fetterer, both of Plymouth, had non-life threatening injuries and were transported to the Methodist Hospital in St. Louis Park for treatment.
The driver of the semi, a 50-year-old man from Kearny, New Jersey, was not injured.
The Wright County Sheriff’s Office, Delano Fire Department, and Ridgeview EMS assisted the State Patrol.
