Two motorcyclists were injured Sunday morning while riding on Highway 24 in Clear Lake.
The State Patrol reports that shortly after 11 AM, the two Harley-Davidson cycles were northbound on Highway 24 when they collided with a Toyota Prius passenger car that was also northbound on Highway 24 near Sherburne County Road 57.
Authorities say the motorcyclists, 40-year-old Jennifer Sackett, and 38-year-old Benjamin Sackett, both of Big Lake, sustained non-life threatening injuries in the crash and were treated at CentraCare Hospital.
The driver of the Prius sedan, 40-year-old Anthony Peterson of Burnsville, and a 7-year-old female passenger, were not injured.
The Sherburne County Sheriff’s Office, the Becker Police Department, Clear Lake Fire Department and Mayo Ambulance assisted State Troopers.
