A woman from Winsted was injured in a two-vehicle traffic crash late Tuesday morning near Winsted.
The State Patrol reports that around 11:30 AM, a Ford Edge SUV was northbound on McLeod County Road 9, while a Volvo semi tractor was eastbound on Minnesota Highway 7, and the vehicles collided.
The driver of the SUV, 80-year-old Sandra Foss of Winsted sustained non-life threatening injuries and was treated at the scene by the Ridgeview Ambulance team. The driver of the semi tractor, 42-year-old Shawn Stallsworth of Reading, Pennsylvania, was not injured.
The Winsted and Lester Prairie Police and Fire Departments, McLeod County Sheriff’s Office, and Ridgeview EMS assisted at the scene.
