Work has been underway this week on the north public access to Buffalo Lake.
You may remember the effects of open water during the late winter, followed by re-freezing, only to eventually open up again, forced part of the concrete pad at the boat landing to heave up and become un-usable.
The DNR and contractors were at work this week removing the old concrete and creating a temporary boat launch. It’s expected that more permanent work will be done at the landing later this year.
