The Wright County Highway Department reminds motorists that beginning Monday, October 20th, the intersection of CSAH 35 and CSAH 8 will be closed to begin the soil corrections in advance of a planned roundabout construction in 2026.
Officials say this is an expected three-week closure with work to be completed in mid-November, depending on the weather.
A detour will be posted using CSAH 9, CSAH 8 and County Road 132. The detour for the CSAH 8 bridge will be modified to go around the intersection closure.
Officials thank the public for their patience and understanding while the projects are completed.
