Friday, April 26th.

Baseball.

Edina 9, STMA 5. Despite the loss, it was a big day at the plate for Drew Luster who went 3-4 with a triple a home run and two RBI’s for the Knights.

Boys Lacrosse.

Buffalo 11, Champlin Park 3. Owen Lange had three goals and three assist in the Bison win.

Girls Lacrosse.

Armstrong 18, STMA 13. Danika Weiland netted five goals for the Knights , while Piper Peterson added four goals and an assist in the Knights loss.

Saturday, April 27th.

Hamline Elite Meet.

One of the biggest Track Events of the season took place this past weekend at Hamline University. Here are the Top 5 finishers from the Wright County Area in both boys and girls events.

Boys.

100 Meters, Brian Schloeder, Rockford, 5th.
Buffalo, 1st in 4×100.
STMA, 2nd in 4×200.
STMA, 1st in 4×400.
Buffalo, 3rd in 4×800.
Long Jump: Muhiz Bada, STMA, 3rd.
Pole Vault: Brian Schloeder, Rockford 1st with a toss of 15-10, Tristan Faber, 2nd with a toss of 14-07.

Discus: Josiah Zilmer, Rockford, 3rd.
Shot Put: Josiah Zilmer, Rockford, 4th.

Girls.

100 meter: Sasha Steinbach, Monticello, 4th.
200 meter: Claire Kvant, STMA, 1st.

Claire Kvant, above, took first place in both the 200, and 400 on Saturday.

400 meter: Claire Kvant, STMA, 1st, and Kaela Skistad, Monticello, 5th.
4×100, STMA, 3rd.
4×200, STMA, 2nd.

Girls Lacrosse.

Buffalo 11, Chaska 6. Hattie Toussaint lead the Bison with five goals and an assist, while Evita Weiche scored four goals and added two assist for the Bison.

Breck 7, Delano 6.

Girls Softball.

Howard Lake WW loses two. The Lakers lost to Holy Family 11-1, and Osseo 9-8 in their tournament on Saturday.

Monday, April 29th.

Baseball.

Monticello 6, Big Lake 2. Caden King went 2-3 with a double and two RBI’s, as he lead the Magic to a victory over Big Lake. King had nine hits on the year, four have been doubles, he also leads the team with 9 RBI’s.

Caden King, above, is on an extra base hitting tear lately for the Magic.

Delano 2, Becker 0.

Rockford 10, Litchfield 0.

Softball.

Howard Lake WW 10, Watertown Mayer 3.

Girls Lacrosse.

Delano 11, Holy Family 3. Gracie Moonen netted three goals and added an assist in the Tigers win.

It was all smiles for the Delano Tigers girls lacrosse team, above, as they rolled over Holy Family on Monday.

Boys Lacrosse.

Delano 9, Holy Family 7.

Boys Golf.

Lake Tri at Wild Marsh in Buffalo.

Eden Prairie won the tri, but Buffalo’s Harvey Ylitalo finished in a three way tie for first with a 69, while Russell Ylitalo from Buffalo finished 4th.

North Branch 4, Monticello 3. Emma McLeod hit a two run home run in the loss for the Magic.

Baseball.

Monticello 5, Buffalo 1. Tyson Visness hit a bases clearing double with the bases loaded as the Magic got by Buffalo on Tuesday. Dolan Brisk drove in the Bison run.

Maple Lake 2, Howard Lake WW 1. The Lakers took a 1-0 lead in the bottom of the sixth, and were one strike away from defeating Maple Lake when the Irish got back to back singles to score two runs, then held on for the victory on Tuesday.

Edina 15, STMA 12.

Girls Lacrosse.

Edina 14, STMA 4.

Wed., May 1st.

Girls Softball.

Buffalo 13, Wayzata 7. Cadence Lindquist hit two home runs, including a grand slam, while driving in eight runs on the day as the Bison picked up their first win of the season on the road at Wayzata.

STMA 6, Minnetonka 4. The Knights scored four in the 7th and held on for the road win at Minnetonka. Amanda Odlund went 2-4 with a double and an RBI.

St. Francis 12, Monticello 6. Allison Bielke collected three hits, drove in two and had two RBI’s in the loss for the Magic.

Rockford swept Howard Lake WW 12-2, and 11-1.

Baseball.

Monticello 13, Zimmerman 1. Brock Holthaus had two triples and an RBI, while Easton Peters went 2-2 with a double and three RBI’s.

Howard Lake WW and Rockford split. The Lakers won the first game 10-6 behind two RBI’s each from Charlie Mumford, Leo Duske and Alex Zimmerman. In the second game the Rockets won 5-4, scoring two in the 7th to pull out the win. Will Haas went 2-3 with a double an three RBI’s in the first game for Rockford.

Wayzata 15, Buffalo 3.

Minnetonka 5, STMA 1.

Delano 7, Jordan 2.

Girls Lacrosse.

Buffalo 13, St. Cloud 2. Evita Weiche and Bailey Mischke combined for seven goals in the Bison win.

Boys Tennis.

Monticello 6, Princeton 1.
