Football.
Minnetonka 7, STMA 0. The Skippers won a defensive battle, including a goal line stand late in the game to lift the Skippers to a home win on Thursday night. Jacob Katewah registered eight tackles, a sack and a fumble recovery in the Knights loss.
Buffalo 35, Cooper 13. Reiker Wignes tossed two TD’s and ran for another as the Bison pulled away from the Hawks on Thursday night. WR Matthew Jordan had three receptions for seventy-three yards and two TDs for Buffalo.

Boys Soccer.
Delano 6, Holy Family 0. Niko Moore collected a hat trick in the Tigers win.
Monticello 2, North Branch 0. The Magic won, but it could have been much worse if not for the goaltending of Jackson Paulston who stopped 26 shots in the loss for the Vikings.
Girls Soccer.
Holy Family 1, Delano 0.

Volleyball.
Royalton 3, Maple Lake 1. The Irish took the first set, but Royalton rallied to win the next three.
Holy Family 3, Howard Lake WW 1. The Fire held off the Lakers in a close match, winning by a combined score of 98-85. Samantha Staloch and Annika McGowen combined for 23 kills in the Holy Family win.
Litchfield 3, Rockford 2. The Rockets won the first two sets, but the Dragons won the final three, including 15-7 in the final set.
Delano went 2-0 at the Apple Valley Challenge, defeating Concordia Academy, and Chatfield.
Dassel-Cokato 3, Mound 0.
Watertown Mayer 3, Annandale 1.
Wayzata 3, Buffalo 0.
Friday, September 11th.
Football.
Annandale 58, Glencoe SL 0. Sixteen players touched the ball on offense in the Cards blowout win on Friday night. Jr. RB Colton Henson scored on TD runs of 54 and 22 yards, while Sr. Cooper Broman provided a 30-yard pick six in the Cards dominant home win.
Dassel-Cokato 18, Howard Lake WW 7. Last season the Lakers upset the Chargers, 28-14 on the road, this season the Chargers got revenge with a road win at HLWW, on a game heard right here on KRWC.
Delano 21, Providence 14. Grant Bruett rushed for 155 yards, including rushing for two TD’s and passing for one as the Tigers won on the road. Brody Roers led Delano with 12 tackles.

Watertown Mayer 36, Rockford 15. The Royals only led 21-15 at the half, but outscored the Rockets, 15-0 in the second half to pull out the victory on Friday night.
Monticello 22, Alex 6. The Magic scored two TDs in the fourth quarter to pull away from the Cards in a battle of two top 5 5AAAAA schools. Cale Holthaus led the Magic on the ground with 166 yards and two rushing TDs.

Saturday, September 12th.
Volleyball.
Delano went 1-1 at the Apple Valley challenge, defeating Waconia, and then losing to Fillmore Central.

Rockford went 1-3 at the Mound tourney, with their victory coming over Maranatha.
Annandale went 2-2 at the Sauk Rapids Rice tourney, with wins over St. Cloud Cathedral and Monticello.
Buffalo went 2-2 at the White Hawk tournament in Mound, with wins over Holy Family, and Norwood YA.
STMA had a tough weekend in volleyball going 1-5 at the Southwest St. Tournament but did pick up a win over Camby.
Monticello went 2-2 at the Sauk Rapids Tourney, defeating, Osakis, and Royalton.
Boys Soccer.
Rogers 2, Monticello 1. Juda Shresta scored a goal in each half for the Royals as they defeated the Magic.
Sartell 3, Delano 2.
