Wright County’s unemployment rate remained under 4 percent in late 2025.
Statistics from November 2025 were recently released from the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development, showing that Wright County’s non-seasonally adjusted jobless rate was 3.6 percent, up from an even 3 percent in September, but up noticeably from 2.2 percent during November of 2024.
Those stats appear to mirror the state jobless trend. The Minnesota seasonally-adjusted unemployment rate in November was an even 4 percent, up from 3.7 percent in September, and up a full point from the 3 percent rate in November 2024.
The jump in the U-S jobless rate was much smaller. The seasonally-adjusted U-S jobless rate in November was 4.6 percent, up two-tenths of a point from the 4.4 percent rate in September, and up just four-tenths of a point from the 4.2 percent rate in November of 2024.
The unemployment numbers closing out the year in December of 2025 should be released in the next two to three weeks.
