Bonnie Seegmiller passed away September 2nd at the age of 92. Bonnie was born in Cheyenne, Wyoming, and attended schools in Wyoming and Colorado.

Bonnie’s musical talents became well-known at an early age. When she was just 16, she sang in a Denver music store, demonstrating sheet music for customers.

Bonnie graduated from high school in 1950, and began classes at the University of Denver.

Bonnie married Bill Seegmiller in Denver. The couple later moved to Minnesota, first residing in St. Louis Park. Bill’s job then re-located them to Howard Lake.

Her working life in Howard Lake was spent as a secretary, and later as sales manager for the Braham-Gilmer Monument Works.

Bonnie’s volunteer work earned her various board positions with the Sweet Adelines, the Walker United Methodist Church, the Howard Lake Business Association and the Good Neighbor Days Committee. She was also a member of the Howard Lake Library, the WOW group, and St. Mary’s Choir. Bonnie was recognized in 2000 as the Honorary Commodore for her work with the Good Neighbor Days Committee.
