A funeral Mass is scheduled for today (Thursday) for a longtime St. Michael area resident and active veterans organization member.
Roger Robeck passed away April 13th at the age of 92.
Roger was born in St. Michael, and was a 1950 graduate of Buffalo High School.
He was a Korean War era veteran, and was an active member of the St. Michael American Legion for a record-setting 70 years. He was also a member of the Legion’s Honor Guard for 50 years, and in addition, was a member of the VFW.
Roger worked for 40 years at Midwestern Machinery in Minneapolis, and was a lifelong member of the St. Michael Catholic Church. His hobbies included hunting and fishing, as well as woodworking and gardening.
The funeral Mass for Roger Robeck is scheduled for today (Thursday) at 11 AM at the St. Michael Catholic Church in St. Michael. A private burial will be held at a later date.
