Memorial Mass Saturday for Longtime Area Resident, Businessman, Clarence “Clancy” Hausladen

A Memorial Mass is planned for Saturday in Waverly for a longtime area resident and businessman.

Clarence “Clancy” Hausladen of Buffalo passed away March 15th at the age of 86.

He was born and raised on the family farm in Waverly, and received his education at St. Mary’s Catholic School in Waverly.

He was a veteran of the U-S Army, with service in Germany from 1957 through 1959.

Clancy was employed for many years by Robinson Rubber Company, and also was a security guard at the Monticello Nuclear Power Plant. Later, he owned and operated Montgomery Ward and Sears Catalog stores in Monticello. He retired from work at Maple Lake Lumber where he worked in customer service. He also operated a hobby farm near Annandale.

The Memorial Mass for Clancy Hausladen will be held Saturday at 10:30 AM at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Waverly. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested for the Bus Fund at the Lake Ridge Care Center in Buffalo.
