April is National Safe Digging Month and Minnesotans are reminded to call 8-1-1 before digging.
CenterPoint Energy spokesperson Joshua Solis has advice on what to do if you should strike a utility line…“We want to remind people to leave the area immediately on foot. Once you’re safely aware, call 9-1-1 and CenterPoint Energy. And we want to remind people not to try to repair a natural gas leak or utility strike.”
Minnesotans are reminded that underground lines can be located at no cost by calling 8-1-1.
