Wright County’s unemployment rate dropped back below four percent last month after a temporary rise in February.
New statistics from the Minnesota Department of Employment and Economic Development show that Wright County’s non-seasonally adjusted jobless in March was 3.6 percent, dropping from 4.1 percent in February.
The new 3.6 percent rate is two-tenths of a point lower than during the same period in 2023, but is up from the 3 percent rate in March of 2022.
Meanwhile, Minnesota’s seasonally adjusted jobless rate in March was 2.7 percent, marking the fifth straight month at that number, while the seasonally adjusted U-S unemployment rate was 3.8 percent, down from the 3.9 percent rate in February.
