Softball.

STMA 9, Minnetonka 8. This Top 10 battle in Class AAAA lived up to the hype! Callan Wagner hit a pinch hit two run home run for the Knights as they walked off the Skippers on Monday afternoon.

Callan Wagner, above, was the hero of the Knights win on Monday, and apparently won a pony for her efforts.

Holy Family 6, Delano 5. The Tigers tied it with a three run 7th, but the Fire pushed across a run in the bottom of the eighth to pull out the victory on Monday. Riley Mathiowetz collected two RBI’s for Delano in the loss.

Princeton 4, Monticello 3. Despite home run’s from Hannah Storey and Emma McLeod the Magic came up just short on Monday against the Tigers.

Rockford 5, Watertown Mayer 0.

Glencoe SL 7, Howard Lake WW 1.

Wayzata 8, Buffalo 5.

Norwood Young America 4, Annandale 2.

Baseball.

Coon Rapids 18, Buffalo 9. In a game that went nine innings, it was a nine run inning in the ninth that pushed the Cards past the Bison on Monday afternoon.

Maple Grove 7, STMA 1.

Princeton 8, Monticello 2. Caden King had a double and an RBI, but it was a tough day again for the Magic as the #4 ranked team in AAA lost their second straight.

Becker 8, Annandale 4.

Glencoe SL 6, Howard Lake WW 3.

Boys Track and Field.

Ryan Babatz from Buffalo won the Lake Conference Shot Put Meet with a throw of 53’11 which was also good for the third longest throw in the state this spring.

Ryan Babatz, above, had one of the best throws in the state yesterday at the Lake Conference meet.

Girls Golf.

Minnetonka took home first place at the Lake Conference meet at Wild Marsh in Buffalo on Monday afternoon, while Abi Labrador from STMA was the top medalist with a -3 under, 68 on the day. The Knights finished third, while Buffalo was 5th.

Thursday, April 18th.

Boys Lacrosse.

Buffalo 8, Eden Prairie 7. Owen Lange stuffed home a shot after a great assist from Coy Meyer with 12 seconds left as the Bison won a thriller over Eden Prairie on Thursday night.

Delano 14, Mankato 12.

STMA 15, Minnetonka 13.

Girls Lacrosse.

Eden Prairie 17, Buffalo 3. Danika Eng netted two goals in the Bison loss.

Monticello 15, Becker 5.

Minnetonka 12, STMA 2.

Delano 16, Holy Angels 7.

Baseball.

Howard Lake WW 14-1, and 2-1 over Annandale. Colton Long threw a five inning complete game in the first win for the Lakers, and Steven Heber threw a one hitter in the second game as the Lakers swept Annandale.

Rockford and New London Spicer split. Only four runs were scored in the two games with the Rockets winning the first one 1-0, and the Wildcats the second game 2-1.

Watertown Mayer sweeps DC 4-2, and 11-1.

Monticello 7, Big Lake 6. Nick Anderson drove in two runs for the Magic and Carson Deibele went five innings, giving up one run while striking out seven to pick up the win for the Magic.

Southwest Christian 1, Delano 0.

Softball.

Annandale sweeps Howard Lake WW, 11-1, and 14-1.

DC sweeps Watertown Mayer, 2-1, and 12-5.

Rockford sweeps New London Spicer 14-3, and 7-1.

Delano 14, Southwest Christian 7.

Delano softball is once again ranked in the Top 10 in AAA and beat Southwest Christian on Thursday afternoon.

STMA 14, Centennial 5.

Big Lake 7, Monticello 3. Lily Kennedy had a double and an RBI for the Magic.

Boys Golf.

Tony Disch from Monticello took home first place at the Pines on Thursday night.
