The Wright County Sheriff’s Office reports what they are calling a “critical incident” early this afternoon (Monday) in the City of Montrose.
Officials say this incident is near the Dollar General store at 631 Nelson Boulevard, and U-S Highway 12.
The information was first posted by the Wright County Sheriff’s Office around 1:30 this afternoon (Monday).
Though the Sheriff’s Office has not indicated what the incident involves, listener reports have indicated that many law enforcement vehicles are on the scene. The Sheriff’s Office has reported that the incident has been contained and there is no danger to the public.
Officials say law enforcement and emergency responders are expected to be in the area for some time, and the public is asked to avoid the area as much as possible.
